A word of caution. This is not the 'except for' that you would use in a sentence like "all the students got Bs on the test except for Noor." In this sentence the 'except for' is modifying the noun phrase "all the students" and not the entire phrase "all the students got Bs on the test." However, غيرش بس modifies an entire clause/sentence.
